Live from the Federation girls B final: I-Irvington routs St. Mary's, 72-47

Hello from the Glens Falls Civic Center for the first of two Federation championships today (see preview story and fact-filled chart -- and other posts here from Friday -- for the details).

Lancers junior Raeann Stilwell had 15 points and six steals to lead St. Mary's and was named to the all-tournament team.

Irvington's Tara Gabelman was the MVP while fellow seniors Lisa Bucci and Riley Harrington were also all-tournament.

The box score:

I-Irvington 72, St. Mary's 45

IRVINGTON (26-1): O'Donnell 5, Giddins 13, Bucci 3, Harrington 11, Gabelman 31, Martins 9.

ST. MARY'S (17-12): Simmeth 5, Stilwell 15, Fontana 11, Kiebzak 2, Richter 4, Kawa 5, Barnhardt 4, Slawiak 1.

Halftime: Irvington, 48-24. Three-point goals: Harrington 2, Stilwell 2, Fontana, Kawa, Barnhardt.

Senior Stephanie Simmeth had eight rebounds and junior Victoria Fontana had three steals and two assists.
