Buffalo-area ESG boys hoop tryouts pushed back to May 5

Buffalo-area tryouts for the Empire State Games boys scholastic basketball team have been pushed back to Wednesday, May 5. They will still be held at St. Mary's High School in Lancaster from 7 to 9:30 p.m.

Also, those who wish to attend tryouts have to wait until May 1 go through the required Web registration at empirestategames.org.

A miscommunication from the Games office led to the delay.

This year's Games will be held in Buffalo on July 21-25.

We have updated the original post to reflect the changes.
