8:16 p.m. Men's hockey score is in: A five goal second period propelled Western to an 8-1 victory over New York City. Western outshot NYC 64-10.
8:00 p.m. Women's hockey update. They defeated New York City 7-0 in their second game of the day. Victoria Salmon had two goals and three assists. Heather Rinow (Lancaster) also had two goals. They are now 3-0.
Still waiting on results from the men's game.
7:25 p.m. Some rowing results are in. The Western women dominated again, winning gold in quad and four w/ coxswain.

200m- Ashley Fields (Amherst) takes the gold and Kala Allen (East Amherst) finishes with silver.
100m high hurdles- Kailyn Arcury (Williamsville) wins the gold. Arcury also took silver in long jump.
2000m steeplechase- Elisa Frazier (Williamsville) takes the silver.
Men's Scholastic Track
Triple Jump- Byron Jones Jr. (Niagara Falls) wins the silver medal.
3,000m Steeplechase- Chad Maloy (Boston) wins silver and Nicholas Orlowski (Lancaster) takes the bronze.
High Jump- Brandon Joyce (Niagara Falls) wins the gold.
6:36 p.m. Back at the media center. The scholastic men's volleyball team looked dominant in their victory over Adirondack. The only miscue was when a player served the ball straight into the back of his teammate's head. I'm working on getting some track results up. Check out the paper tomorrow for full track coverage. Mary Jo Monnin was at UB Stadium all day catching the track action.

4:24 p.m. Here are some lacrosse results from this afternoon.
Men’s Lacrosse: A six goal third quarter propelled Central over Western 12-4. Nick Doktor (Rochester) had a goal and an assist for Western.
Women's Lacrosse: After going down 9-7 at the end of the first half, Western came back to defeat Central 14-11.
4:18 p.m. Women's ice hockey defeated Central 5-2 after going up 3-0 in the first period. Victoria Salmon (Batavia) had two goals. They take on New York City later today.
4:14p.m. In men's gymnastics, Jonathan Zirna (East Amherst) won gold in the All Around Individual in the scholastic division. Nathaniel Roberson (Williamsville) took the bronze.
3:39 p.m. Western has had success in the pool in the scholastic division, both in swimming and diving. They took home a plethora of medals in swimming yesterday, and there are more finals later today. Here are some diving results from this morning:
Women’s Diving: Rachel Eckert (Rochester) handily won the gold medal in the 3m final with a score of 427.60.
Men's Diving: Dhrub Tyagi (Fairport) took gold in the 1m final today after sitting with a comfortable lead following voluntary dives yesterday.
3:30 p.m. In the scholastic division, women's basketball rebounded from a blowout loss yesterday with a 62-43 win over New York City this morning . Carly Dalton (Jamestown) led the team with 13 points.
3:15 p.m. After some weather and traffic delays, I have made it to the media center at UB. Once I get settled in, I will start getting results out. It's a bit windy, but the rain has finally stopped. I saw girls heading over to field hockey as I drove in.
