As I noted in today's Prep Talk column, there is a must-attend event for basketball coaches this Friday.
The Western New York Chapter of the Basketball Coaches Association of New York will hold its seventh annual WNY Spring Basketball Coaches clinic on Friday in The Sullivan Center at Medaille College.
The clinic is free to all coaches at all levels, including AAU coaches and non-BCANY members. Registration is at the door.
Coaches who will speak during the clinic are: Penn State-Behrend's Dave Niland (5:30 p.m.), Medaille women's coach Pete Lonergan (6:30), Le Moyne's Steve Evans (7:30), University at Buffalo's Reggie Witherspoon (8:30).
