Buffalo girls team tryouts set for BCANY Hoops Festival

Tryouts for the Buffalo girls team that will participate in the BCANY Hoops Festival in Binghamton have been set.

Tryouts are July 18 and 19 from 6-8 p.m. at Medaille College. The team will be coached by Bill Shaw of Lockport with assistants Chris Durr (former Williamsville East coach) and Jenepher Banker (Grand Island).

The festival will be held Aug 5-7 in Johnson City; the event was formulated by the BCANY after the cancellation of the Empire State Games. The boys squad has already been picked.
