A short but sweet reminder for high school football fans as we get closer to one of the a very highly anticipated season: Practices for football (and most other fall sports) begin two weeks from today on Aug. 15.
Here's a key for any playbook right now: a link to this fall's Section VI divisional alignment.
Some clarification on the Monsignor Martin Association: It will be one six-team league.
The four traditional AA schools -- Bishop Timon-St. Jude, Canisius, St. Francis and St. Joe's -- are joined by Cardinal O'Hara and St. Mary's. O'Hara will play the traditional AA schools once each, but St. Mary's will not and will automatically be a No. 6 seed for the playoffs.
