Eden, Randolph advance to girls volleyball state semifinals

With three matches in the books, Section VI has two victories in the Far West Regional girls volleyball matches at Sweet Home.

Eden routed Skaneateles, 25-9, 25-13, 25-1, while Randolph advanced in four games over V-Warsaw. Nikki Attea saw her high school career come to a close in Williamsville North's loss in four games to Mercy of Rochester.

Albion is playing as we speak against Marcellus in Class B, and Orchard Park plays at 6 p.m. vs. V-Penfield in Class AA.

Eden and Randolph will compete for state titles next weekend at the Glens Falls Civic Arena. Both teams are defending state champions.
