Super Sunday Fed hockey wrapup and more

Niagara-Wheatfield, Kenmore East and St. Francis all earned the right to be called champions Sunday in winning their respective Western New York Varsity Hockey Federation league titles at First Niagara Center.

The three hit the road for the state playoffs with Niagara-Wheatfield facing the state's No. 1 Division I (Large) School West Genesee of Section III (Syracuse area) on Saturday in a quarterfinal. Ken East visits Section V champ Batavia Notre Dame on Saturday in a Division II quarter, while St. Francis plays St. Anthony's (L.I.) for the state Catholic title at Nassau Coliseum.

Here is an audio podcast wrapping up the Fed title games as well as interviews with the winning coaches: Rick Wrazin (Niagara-Wheatfield), Kyle Pray (Ken East) and Craig Fattey (St. Francis).
