Week Seven Saturday kicks off with Prep Talk Live & your #preptalkscores ... and includes huge win for JFK

Week Seven Saturday has a ton riding on several games as the Section VI playoff picture will be cleared up by the end of today's action.

I'll be starting at the Cleveland Hill at JFK battle for the Class C North championship at 1:30 and I'll likely be on hand for the Grand Island vs. McKinley game in A North at Riverside at 4. Another key game is Jamestown at Clarence at 2 in AA South; the lone rivalry game of the day has Kenmore East hosting Kenmore West at Sparky Adams Field at 2.

I wrote a preview of this weekend's action as part of Football Friday while there is a separate blog post on the Section VI playoff picture that will be updated as the day goes on.

We encourage you to tweet updates with the hashtag #preptalkscores attached -- that's the quickest way for us to share the information through the live chat (tweets with that hashtag will automatically show up). You can also certainly still tweet those updates to @bufnewspreptalk and @KeithMcSheaBN.

Today's lineup (and last night's scores) are accessible via our high school scoreboard page, which is getting back up to speed. It has been going through some growing pains -- and still has some to get through -- due to our transition to a redesigned web site. Check out the standings link on the right side; we have some bugs to work out but we're excited about that (see football here). We appreciate your patience with us during this major switchover.

Be sure to join us Sunday night at 8:30 p.m. when Lauren Mariacher and I will bring you another episode of PrepTalkTV Sunday, our live wrapup show here at packed with highlights, interviews, analysis, in-studio guests, your feedback and other features. PrepTalkTV Sunday follows the 8 p.m. broadcast of our Bills wrapup show, [BN]TheHuddle; Lauren and I will be a part of that as well.
