We welcomed in Canisius coach Rich Robbins and junior standout Qadree Ollison, after the Crusaders completed an undefeated 11-0 season on Saturday.
We also wrapped up the state semifinals and how Orchard Park, Sweet Home and Randolph advanced to the state championship games.
And we had another exciting announcement as Trench Trophy committee co-chairmen Carl Kuras and Ed Sciera helped us reveal the finalists for the award that goes to Western New York's most outstanding lineman.
The 10 finalists are: Jason Bunk (Alden), John Czech (Jamestown), Cortland Haines (Jamestown), Ryan Hunter (Canisius), Sean Murphy (Bishop Timon-St. Jude), Nick Nocek (Fredonia), Michael Senn (Orchard Park), Tyler Studd (Springville), Khalil Summerville (Bennett) and Jake Swan (Maple Grove).
