The Depew Boys & Girls Club is holding a fundraiser to support its rebuilding fund after its club sustained major damage in a New Year's Day fire.
Countless basketball players, coaches and officials have made their way through the club, which offers many other activities to area youth.
Depew/Lancaster Boys & Girls Club Executive Director Dave Hoch, who is also one of Western New York's top basketball officials, said the Depew club will be rebuilding on the original site.
The fundraiser is Feb. 9 at St. Mary's High School's fieldhouse. The $25 ticket includes food, beer, soda and music; doors open at 5:30 with the event running from 6 to 11 p.m. There will be raffles, check presentations as well as an update on the rebuilding of the club.
