PrepTalkTV Weekly makes 2013 debut & spotlights rivalry week; postshow chat talks hoops & city football proposal

PrepTalkTV Weekly makes its 2013 debut tonight at 9.

Lauren Mariacher and myself will host, and our guests will include St. Joe's basketball seniors Jordan Glover and Dylan Hall and excellent Western New York basketball blogger and News pollster Chad "Centercourt" Andrews. Among several topics to be discussed is rivalry week for St. Joe's and Canisius, which includes the teams' first hockey meeting Thursday and their first basketball meeting Saturday at 2 at Canisius College. We'll also talk about my column from today on the possible downsizing of the Buffalo Public Schools' football program.

Just as we did in the fall with PrepTalkTV Sunday, I'll have a live chat following the show. Tune in to the show at the buffalonews.com home page, or right here. The chat will follow shortly after the show in the window below.

The exact start time for the chat depends on how long the live video show goes. Let us know what you thought of the show. Anything in the world of high school sports -- or our coverage of it -- is up for discussion.

As always, please just ask questions once. I promise I'll get to them. If you can't make the chat, you can ask questions via my email, Twitter account, our Facebook page or the comments section below.
