All-Western New York teams for 2013 spring season

The All-Western New York teams from the 2013 spring season were published earlier this summer. The teams are selected by panels of coaches.

Here's a rundown:

BASEBALL: Clarence's Mark Armstrong and Amherst's Jonah Heim, who were both drafted this year, were fittingly at the top of the season wrapup story. Here's the All-Western New York first team chart and photo; here is the honor roll list of all-league teams

SOFTBALL: The wrapup story highlights state champions Hamburg and Frewsburg. Here's the All-WNY first team and the all-star honor roll

BOYS LACROSSE: The wrapup story focuses on the national-record stat totals of Bishop Timon-St. Jude's Connor Fields and Silver Creek's Zed Williams. Both of those players are part of the All-WNY first team as well as All-Americans; the total list of awards is at the honor roll page.

GIRLS LACROSSE: Hamburg's Megan Mikolajek was the focus of the wrapup story. She was part of the All-WNY first team and her All-American honor is part of the honor roll list
