Video: Alden rallies in final minute to beat Hutch Tech

By Jonah Bronstein, Special to the Prep Talk blog

For the second week in a row, No. 1 small school Alden came from behind in the fourth quarter to pull out a win.

Brian Stoldt drove the Bulldogs 85 yards in the final two minutes and connected with Austin Hopcia on a 15-yard scoring pass with 19 seconds left to lift Alden over visiting Hutch Tech, 29-22, in a non-league matchup.

Stoldt passed for 132 yards and three touchdowns. Hopcia caught four passes for 61 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Shawn Cooper also caught a touchdown. Lyle Grant rushed for 116 yards and a touchdown and had long run at the start of the Bulldogs' game-winning drive.

Alden (3-0) plays at No. 2 small school Depew (3-0) next Friday.
