Week One Saturday on #PrepTalkLive: St. Joe's knocks off L.I. power St. Anthony's (with video interviews)

By Keith McShea

After an eventful opening night (check out our four videos here on the blog & last night's #preptalklive blog debut), we're back again for Saturday afternoon to see how the rest of Western New York high school football opens the 2013 campaign.

I'll have live play-by-play updates in the blog below, and I'll have scoring and end-of-quarter updates via Twitter. We'll also have staffers at other games (here are some other top games today). The day kicks off with Nichols hosting Cardinal O'Hara at noon.

We encourage you to tweet updates with the hashtag #preptalklive attached -- that's the quickest way for us to share the information through the live chat (tweets with that hashtag will automatically show up -- our old friend #preptalkscores will work as well). You can also certainly still tweet any updates at @bufnewspreptalk and @KeithMcSheaBN as well.

Our high school scoreboard page will have the final scores and details as soon as they are reported to us.

Chest tap (my bad) on the Davis interview video being fuzzy. One of some major gaffes for me today, video-wise.

We'll be back with more #PrepTalkLive coverage next weekend.

Until then, we'll have the season's first polls in Tuesday's paper, as well as my "How The News voted" blog post here. The first Power 10 and Prep Talk column will be Wednesday or Thursday. At 7:30 p.m. Thursday, it's the debut of PrepTalkTV. And then we'll be at it all over again. :-)
