Week Eight Saturday with #PrepTalkLive: Setting the Section VI final fours; Ken West routs Lancaster

By Keith McShea

By the end of today, Week Eight Saturday, we'll have all of the Section VI final four matchups set and see which teams are one step away from The Ralph.

I'll be at Crosby Field in Kenmore at 2 p.m. for Lancaster at Kenmore West in the Class AA quarterfinals. I'll have play-by-play along with scoring and end-of-quarter updates via Twitter (with the hashtag #LANCvKW on #PrepTalkLive).

I'll start the day with a peak at Bishop Timon-St. Jude at St. Joe's at 1 p.m and I just might be able to catch the end of Pioneer-Burgard at All High Stadium, which starts at 2:30.

We'll update our Section VI semifinal post with today's results ASAP.

We encourage you to tweet updates with the hashtag #preptalklive attached -- that's the quickest way for us to share the information through the live chat (tweets with that hashtag will automatically show up -- our old friend #preptalkscores will work as well).

Our high school scoreboard page will have the final scores and details as soon as they are reported to us.

If you are looking for a score, scroll through and/or use CTRL-F (find) to search for the team involved before asking if there has been an update. Often updates have come through; also, it's difficult for us to respond to questions seeking specific scores while live blogging.

We'll be back next week with more #PrepTalkLive coverage.
