Week Seven Saturday with #PrepTalkLive: Sweet Home, Ken West wrap up Section VI regular season with blowout wins

By Keith McShea

By the end of today, Week Seven Saturday, we'll have all of the Section VI playoff matchups set, we'll see if Sweet Home's streak will continue and we'll find out which team rules Kenmore-Tonawanda.

[UPDATE: Sweet Home wins, 58-22; Ken West wins, 42-0 and the Section VI playoff schedule is SET.]

I'll be at Sweet Home for its showdown with fellow Class A divisional champion McKinley at 2 p.m. I'll have play-by-play along with scoring and end-of-quarter updates via Twitter (with the hashtag #MCKvSH on #PrepTalkLive).

Another 2 p.m. game not too far away is that we'll keep an eye on is Kenmore East at Kenmore West at Crosby Field; the rivals enter the game with 4-2 records. Pioneer at Eden in B South and Bennett at Barker/Roy-Hart in B North will help clear up the playoff picture for good.

Check out our exhaustive post that set up the Section VI playoff picture heading into the weekend, and our Section VI playoff schedule post that we'll update as soon as matchups become finalized.

We encourage you to tweet updates with the hashtag #preptalklive attached -- that's the quickest way for us to share the information through the live chat (tweets with that hashtag will automatically show up -- our old friend #preptalkscores will work as well).

Our high school scoreboard page will have the final scores and details as soon as they are reported to us.

We'll be back next week with more #PrepTalkLive coverage.
