Week Nine Saturday with #PrepTalkLive: Canisius beats St. Joe's, 21-0; field for The Ralph set today

By Keith McShea

Today is one of the most meaningful days of the high school football season: Two rivals go at it while we finalize next weekend's schedule of Section VI finals at Ralph Wilson Stadium.

I'll be at the Stransky Complex in West Seneca for the 1 p.m. kickoff of the 82nd edition of St. Joe's vs. Canisius as the Monsignor Martin Association season comes to an end. I'll have play-by-play along with scoring and end-of-quarter updates via Twitter (with the hashtag #STJvCAN on #PrepTalkLive).

We'll also have correspondent Aaron Mansfield at West Seneca East at Sweet Home at 2 p.m.; that's one of three Section VI semifinals today that will set the field for The Ralph.

We encourage you to tweet updates with the hashtag #preptalklive attached -- that's the quickest way for us to share the information through the live chat (tweets with that hashtag will automatically show up -- our old friend #preptalkscores will work as well).

Our high school scoreboard page has today's full schedule, and it will have the final scores and details as soon as they are reported to us.

If you are looking for a score from today, scroll through and/or use CTRL-F (find) to search for the team involved before asking if there has been an update. Often updates have come through; also, it's difficult for us to respond to questions seeking specific scores while live blogging.

We'll be back next week with more #PrepTalkLive coverage from the Section VI finals at Ralph Wilson Stadium.
