#PrepTalkLive from Middle Early College ending McKinley's 33-game Yale Cup win streak (with VIDEO), plus your updates

By Keith McShea

It's again a very busy Friday night in basketball, and our stop is a very big one in the Yale Cup as No. 2 large school McKinley aims to keep its outstanding success in league play going against co-No. 4 small school Middle Early College at 7 p.m. at Erie Community College's Flickinger Center, which is MEC's home gym.

There are a ton of league games in both boys and girls play. As always, we're looking forward to your #PrepTalkLive updates on Twitter.

Our scoreboard page has a schedule of today's games -- that same page will have box scores as games are reported to us throughout the evening.

Keep track of the action and contribute to it as well in the blog below -- the easiest way to do that is to tweet updates with the #PrepTalkLive hashtag.

We will set up blogs like this throughout the winter, especially on busy nights -- we'll monitor games via not only our tweets, but those of high school sports fans and followers who use the #preptalklive hashtag.

While tonight is a busy basketball night, we want tweets from all varsity sports every day of the week. The #preptalklive blog (and hashtag) -- as it was during football season -- is the place to check out scores from all over Western New York.
