PrepTalkTV: Cheektowaga wrestling standout Rodriguez-Spencer & an old friend co-hosts

Cheektowaga senior wrestler Renaldo Rodriguez-Spencer, an All-American and state champion who is headed to Iowa State, will join us on PrepTalkTV tonight along with his coach Matt Haberl, and a special guest co-host appearance by former News reporter Lauren Burroughs (you'll remember her last name as Mariacher in her PrepTalkTV days). We'll get started at 7:30.

The live show will be again be followed shortly thereafter by a live chat in which we'll monitor tonight's action -- including the 9 p.m. Federation hockey game between Williamsville North and St. Joe's -- through the #PrepTalkLive hashtag on Twitter. Canisius basketball players Howard Washington, Ryan Richards and LaTerrance Reed will be our guests on the final PrepTalkTV episode of 2013. The show is tonight at 7:30 and can be watched right here. 

Canisius was supposed to be on last week's show, but we had to cancel due to snowstorm.

Live chat (Dec. 12): All-Western New York football review & feedback

UPDATE (7:15 p.m.): Due to the traffic nightmare near One News Plaza caused by the snowstorm and a concert whose name rhymes with "Christmas Rash," PrepTalkTV is cancelled tonight.

Tonight's episode of PrepTalkTV welcomes in one season while closing the book on another. 

We will welcome Canisius basketball coach Kyle Husband along with sophomore Howard Washington and lone returning starter Ryan Richards for our 7:30 p.m. episode. 

We'll talk a little football with Richards in the latter half of the program, as we transition into our yearly live chat (around 8:15) to discuss feedback of the All-Western New York football team. We'll be taking your questions in the chat, while I'll pipe in various tweets that have been directed my way (or discuss the All-WNY team in general).
