We'll talk about the upcoming final week of the Section VI regular season, Week Seven, while my Prep Talk column today will likely be part of the discussion as well. 

Our guest host is Dave DeLuca, a Springville grad and Buffalo State student who contributes to the Springville Journal.

PrepTalkTV Week Four kicks off a day early with Sweet Home & guest co-host Aaron Mansfield

Our fourth episode of PrepTalkTV is tonight at 7:30 (you'll be able to watch it here and the home page of BuffaloNews.com). Yes, faithful viewers, we're on one day earlier this week due to the Bills playing on Thursday night. 

There is another great lineup of games this weekend, and again we've got some team members from one of those schools with us. Sweet Home coach John Faller and junior captain Brandon Smiley will be in to talk about their successful season (again) and their big game at Grand Island on Saturday afternoon. 

Our guest host is Aaron Mansfield, a graduate of Christian Central and current UB senior who is in his second year as editor in chief of The Spectrum, UB's student newspaper. Mansfield has also been an intern at The News for the last two summers and has contributed to our high school coverage here and there.

PrepTalkTV Week Two: Lockport football, guest host Jonah Bronstein & postshow live chat

Our second episode of PrepTalkTV is tonight at 7:30 (you'll be able to watch it here and the home page of BuffaloNews.com).

Our guests are coach Greg Bronson and senior quarterback Dan Bronson of Lockport, which recorded a huge win last Friday at Orchard Park. The Lions upended the Quakers despite Dan Bronson, the returning starting quarterback, being knocked out for the season after suffered a broken collarbone in their Week One game. Lockport has another great matchup this week as they host fellow 2-0 Class AA team Frontier at 2 p.m. Saturday.   

We'll also have our second guest host of the season with Jonah Bronstein of homebasebuffalo.com. Bronstein is a Kenmore East and Brockport State graduate, a veteran sportswriter in Western New York and the founder and publisher of homebasebuffalo.com, which tracks local athletes who have gone on to participate in college athletics.

PrepTalkTV kicks off its season with St. Joe's football & our first guest host

Welcome to another season of PrepTalkTV. We're getting started tonight (here and the home page of BuffaloNews.com) and we'll continue to come at you weekly on Thursdays at 7:30.

That will put is in a great spot to talk about the upcoming weekend of high school football. Each week we'll be joined by a guest, and we're starting off with St. Joe's coach Dennis Gilbert and senior standout Nigel Davis. The Marauders had an outstanding win over Long Island power St. Anthony's to start the season, and they play at Clarence in a fine public-private matchup at 7 p.m. Saturday.

We'll also have our first guest host of the season with Springville grad and current Buffalo State freshman Dave DeLuca, who has had a hand in covering high school football the last few seasons.

We will be rotating guest hosts throughout the year, and we're still accepting applications from current high school students.
