Joe Rose, always a friend of the blog in its various incarnations over the years, had me on 560 WQAM in Miami this morning to preview the Buffalo Bills and their status in the AFC East.
Rose, the former Miami Dolphins tight end and color commentator for their broadcasts, is bullish on the Bills if they can stay healthy.
We agreed the Bills should be better than the New York Jets, but Rose playfully declined to join me in saying the Bills have separated themselves from the Dolphins.
We covered several topics during the 11-minute segment, including Bills fan loyalty, how stacked the defensive line looks on paper and how new defensive coordinator Dave Wannstedt will impact the team.
Make sure you listen through the false sendoff about nine minutes into the segment. Rose tried to tell me goodbye and I kept on talking, extending my visit an extra couple minutes with some Dolphins talk.
