Rogers Media, promoters of the Buffalo Bills series of games in Toronto, emailed a news release this morning with details of ticket reductions reported Tuesday night on the Press Coverage blog.
Tickets went on sale today for the Dec. 16 game against the Seattle Seahawks. The average price has been slashed 35 percent, but many were reduced around 50 percent.
"This is a significant step in the right direction to help us reengage with our fans who attend our games at Rogers Centre," Mary Owen, the Buffalo Bills' executive vice president of strategic planning, said in the release.
"Last year's shutout victory over the Washington Redskins featured our best game-day atmosphere to date at Rogers Centre. Our goal is to build on last year's momentum and provide an exciting Buffalo Bills game-day experience at Rogers Centre on Dec. 16. The new fan-friendly pricing structure gives us a better opportunity to have our most passionate fans from the region support the Bills in Toronto."
Tickets for the game can be purchased at BillsinToronto.com, at the Rogers Centre box office or through Ticketmaster at (855) 985-5000.
