CANTON, Ohio -- It's a gorgeous morning here on the Pro Football Hall of Fame campus. I just arrived at the media center and will be covering some of the induction weekend festivities.
Buffalo Bills owner Ralph Wilson and his wife, Mary, are expected to be in attendance this morning to dedicate the Ralph Wilson Jr. Pro Football Research and Preservation Center. Wilson donated $2.5 million to construct the 10,000-square-foot facility.
A throng of St. Bonaventure folks are coming down to support Pittsburgh Steelers safety Jack Butler, who will be inducted Saturday night. I wrote about Butler's unlikely path to the Hall of Fame for today's editions of The Buffalo News.
I'll poke around the grounds and be on the lookout for Bills legends such as Bruce Smith, Thurman Thomas, James Lofton, Joe DeLamielleure and Billy Shaw, who are expected to be in attendance.
Please check back on the Press Coverage blog for nuggets and updates as I come across them.
