C.J. Spiller's performance through the first two weeks of the season hasn't given just Buffalo Bills fans something to smile about.
He's also the second-highest scoring fantasy football player through Sunday's games, trailing only Washington rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III. RG3 has 54 points in standard ESPN leagues, while Spiller has 50. Spiller was the second-highest scoring running back Sunday. His 28 points on 170 combined yards and two touchdowns were just three behind Miami's Reggie Bush, who had 197 combined yards and two touchdowns in a win over Oakland.
Spiller was asked Sunday whether he cared about producing for his fantasy owners.
"I have not control over that," he said. "I wish those guys well. I try, but my main focus is helping my team get wins on Sundays."
More games like the one he had against the Chiefs will keep both the Bills and his fantasy owners happy.
