NFL Network analyst Michael Lombardi put Buffalo Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick in the crosshairs this morning.
On his "Front Office View" segment, Lombardi had this to say about Fitzpatrick, who signed a six-year contract extension last season:
"There is a lot of buyer's remorse. When you throw 19 interceptions over the last 10 games and your team is 1-9 after you get the big contract, Ryan Fitzpatrick has to prove that the Buffalo Bills were right in their judgment in terms of hoping that he's the quarterback not only for the present but for the future.
"They were counting on him to be the man. So far in those 10 games he hasn't been the man. When you talk to people in the league as I have on a repeated basis, they'll tell you they are having a lot of buyer's remorse on Ryan Fitzpatrick."
