PHOENIX -- The Buffalo Bills have made two personnel moves on their offensive line in hopes of patching together a tattered unit.
The Bills placed Colin Brown on injured reserve and signed free agent Reggie Wells to make sure they have enough O-linemen for Sunday's game with the Arizona Cardinals.
The Bills signed Wells to a free-agent offer sheet in 2006, but the Cardinals matched the five-year deal.
Wells is a 10-year NFL veteran with experience at guard and tackle. He's 6 foot 4 and 318 pounds.
He started six seasons for the Cardinals, most recently in 2009. He also has played for the Philadelphia Eagles and Carolina Panthers. This year, Wells failed to make the Green Bay Packers roster out of training camp.
Brown started Sunday's game at right guard against the San Francisco 49ers because starter Kraig Urbik and backup Chad Rinehart are hurt. Brown suffered a hamstring injury in the first half and didn't return to the field.
