Bills running back C.J. Spiller is up for this week's FedEx Ground Player of the Week award, the NFL announced today.
Spiller rushed for 88 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, helping the Bills to a 19-16 overtime victory.
Spiller, who won the award following Week One and was a finalist in Week Two, has some tough competition this week. The other candidates, from the NFL's email release:
- New York Giants RB Ahmad Bradshaw rushed for 116 yards on 27 carries adding on one touchdown as the Giants beat the San Francisco 49ers 26-3.
- New York Jets RB Shonn Greene rushed for 161 yards on 32 carries and scored three times in the Jets’ 35-9 victory over the Indianapolis Colts.
Fans can vote for one player on NFL.com/FedEx now through 3 p.m. Friday. The winners will be announced Friday on NFL Total Access on NFL Network and on NFL.com.
