The AFC named Buffalo Bills safety Jairus Byrd its defensive player of the week for his performance in Sunday's 19-16 sudden-death victory over the Arizona Cardinals.

Byrd intercepted Kevin Kolb in the fourth quarter and John Skelton in overtime, setting up Rian Lindell's winning field goal.

Byrd had four tackles, including one for a loss.

His three interceptions are tied for third in the NFL and tied for first in the AFC.
