TEMPE, Ariz. -- Six Buffalo Bills didn't practice today on the Arizona State campus.
Defensive end Mark Anderson was absent and needs knee surgery after getting hurt Sunday in San Francisco.
Also missing were left tackle Cordy Glenn, right guard Kraig Urbik and defensive tackle Spencer Johnson. All three have ankle injuries.
Defensive tackle Kyle Williams and offensive lineman Chad Rinehart worked out on the sidelines and didn't participate with the team.
Williams has an ankle injury, but it's not believed to be serious. He said he should practice Thursday.
Rinehart is dealing with a calf injury that knocked him out of Sunday's game in Candlestick Park.
Bills safety Jairus Byrd, who left the game with a chest injury, was on the practice field in a limited capacity and said he should be fine for Sunday. Bills coach Chan Gailey had said Monday that Byrd wouldn't participate today.
Center Eric Wood was limited with a left foot injury.
