For much of Sunday's game in Ralph Wilson Stadium, the Buffalo Bills seemed to have a magic touch.
The Bills led the New England Patriots by two touchdowns in the third quarter. The Patriots were making uncharacteristic mistakes, fumbling balls and missing field goals.
By the end of the game, the Patriots had 52 points, 580 yards and touchdowns on six straight possessions. The Patriots became the second NFL team with two 100-yard rushers, a 300-yard passer and two 100-yard receivers.
What the hell?
That question summed up the general theme of my weekly Monday morning spot with the "Shredd and Ragan Show" on 103.3 The Edge.
We discussed the Bills' running back rotation of Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller, quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick's up-and-down performance, defensive coordinator Dave Wannstedt's game plan, defensive end Mario Williams' lack of impact and injuries to five starters.
