The Buffalo Bills made four roster moves to bolster their lineup for today's road game against the Arizona Cardinals in University of Phoenix Stadium.
The Bills waived running back Johnny White and safety Delano Howell to make room for offensive lineman David Snow and defensive tackle Jay Ross, both from the practice squad.
Snow was promoted even though the Bills signed free-agent O-lineman Reggie Wells this week. Wells isn't familiarized enough with the Bills' offense, whereas Snow spent training camp with the Bills and has been in the meeting room all season.
Ross was summoned because defensive tackle Spencer Johnson did not make the trip because of an ankle injury and defensive tackle Kyle Williams missed two practices this week with an ankle injury.
White was superfluous on the Bills' roster because running backs Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller are back from their injuries. Howell, the lone undrafted rookie to make the team out of training camp, has been active for only one game.
