The Buffalo Bills returned to practice today in Ralph Wilson Stadium without the following five players: running back Fred Jackson, defensive end Mark Anderson, wide receiver Brad Smith, cornerback Aaron Williams and defensive tackle Spencer Johnson.
Jackson still has not been cleared to resume football activities after suffering a concussion in Week 10 at New England, but Bills coach Chan Gailey said last week the team hopes to have him back at practice Wednesday.
Smith is suffering from a nagging hamstring injury that Gailey said last week will take some time to fully heal, while Anderson and Williams continue to be out with knee injuries.
Johnson was a limited participant last week with an ankle injury, but was able to play against the Dolphins.
Gailey will update the team's injury report at the conclusion of practice.
