The Buffalo Bills aren't ecstatic about playing a second game in five days or their third game in 12 days.
But at least the game will take place in Ralph Wilson Stadium.
The Bills could have a significant advantage over the Miami Dolphins. Road teams are 3-6 on "Thursday Night Football," and the Dolphins historically have trouble in cold weather. The Dolphins did, however, win 30-23 in the snow last year.
Temperatures in Davie, Fla., where the Dolphins' facilities are located have been in the mid 80s this week. The forecast for Thursday's 8:20 p.m. kickoff in Orchard Park is a temperature in the mid to upper 30s.
"We would've liked to win any of our three games to give the Buffalo fans something to cheer about," Bills center Eric Wood said. "But they haven't had a primetime game in a while. It's a sellout crowd, so we're expecting a pretty tough atmosphere for [the Dolphins] to come in to our place."
The Bills have not hosted a primetime game since 2008.
