A look at how Buffalo distributed the ball versus St. Louis

By Tim Graham

For the record, a rundown of how many times the Buffalo Bills tried to get the ball to their various players in Sunday's 15-12 loss to the St. Louis Rams:

14, Fred Jackson -- nine carries, five targets.

8, T.J. Graham -- seven targets, one carry.

8, Stevie Johnson -- eight targets.

8, C.J. Spiller -- seven carries, one target.

6, Leodis McKelvin -- four punt returns, two kickoff returns.

5, Scott Chandler -- five targets.

5, Donald Jones -- five targets.

2, Brad Smith -- one target, one kickoff return.

1, Lee Smith -- one target.

One of my favorite notes from the game was pointed out by Buffalo News columnist Bucky Gleason: Rams punter Johnny Hekker had as many touches as Spiller.
