The Buffalo Bills have placed cornerback and return ace Leodis McKelvin on injured reserve and have brought back linebacker Kirk Morrison.
McKelvin was deactivated from Sunday's game with a groin injury.
He has been one of the NFL's best return men this year. He ranks fourth in kickoff returns with a 28.3-yard average and first in punt returns with an 18.7-yard average.
McKelvin returned an NFL-best two punts for touchdowns this year, including a 79-yarder against the Miami Dolphins in Week 11. It was the Bills' only touchdown in a five-point victory.
Brad Smith handled kickoff returns and Justin Rogers was the punt returner Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks in the Rogers Centre.
