MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. -- The Buffalo Bills caught another break with the Miami Dolphins inactive list.
In addition to third-down receiver extraordinaire Davone Bess being out, so is starting cornerback Nolan Carroll. The Dolphins will start Dimitri Patterson, acquired a few days ago, in Carroll's place.
Also of note, Bills linebacker Kirk Morrison will play for the first time this year. He had been inactive before the Bills released him. They re-signed him this week after placing linebacker Arthur Moats on injured reserve.
