Buffalo Bills safety Jairus Byrd was named to the 2012 NFL All-Pro second team today, after voting by a national panel of 50 media members.
Byrd, who is set to become an unrestricted free agent, finished the season with 76 tackles, four forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, five interceptions and six passes defensed. Byrd received votes on seven of 70 ballots.
Earl Thomas of Seattle (28 votes) and Dashon Goldson of San Francisco (20) were the first-team All-Pro selections, while San Diego's Eric Weddle (19) joined Byrd on the second team.
Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson and Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt were the two unanimous selections to the team.
