Seems everybody's putting a contest into some kind of bracket this time of year.
NFL.com has one that could sandbag your productivity for a good chunk of the day.
The NFL is letting fans determine the greatest single play in league history. The site has come up with a field of 64 plays divided into four "regionals" and then seeded Nos. 1 through 16. Your votes determine what plays advance in the tournament.
You can watch a video for each of the 64, with the plays that are going head-to-head viewable in the same window to make the decision as easy as possible.
The Buffalo Bills star in only one of the plays, and some fans might be disappointed to know it's symbolic not of triumph, but of remaining relentless in defeat.
Don Beebe's desperation sprint-and-strip of Leon Lett in Super Bowl XXVII is the ninth seed in the Sayers bracket and is matched up with Brett Favre's scrambly dart to Greg Lewis in 2009.
If Beebe's play makes it out of the first round, then it likely will run headlong into the Music City Miracle in the second round. The Tennessee Titans' trick play to eliminate the Bills from their last postseason appearance 13 years ago is the top seed in the Sayers bracket.
The third seed in the Sayers bracket is former Bills running back Marshawn Lynch's incredible touchdown trample with the Seattle Seahawks in the 2011 playoffs.
One play the Bills were involved in that I thought should have made the field was Randall Cunningham, ducking and dodging Bruce Smith in the end zone before launching a bomb to Fred Barnett for a 95-yard touchdown in 1990.
