Arizona QB Matt Scott visiting Bills with Tennessee WR Zach Rogers

By Mark Gaughan

University of Arizona quarterback Matt Scott and University of Tennessee receiver Zach Rogers are visiting One Bills Drive today on pre-draft visits.

Scott is a raw, developmental quarterback who has the athleticism to throw and run the read-option running game. He started just 17 games in his college career. He spent most of his time backing up Nick Foles, who entered the draft last year.

Scott embraced the option offense of coach Rich Rodriguez last season, leading Arizona to an 8-4 record. Scott completed 60.3 percent of his passes for 3,620 yards. He had 27 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. He also rushed for 506 yards and six touchdowns on 113 attempts. He's probably a middle-round prospect in this month's NFL Draft.

Rogers, 6-foot and 182 pounds, is considered a third-day pick. He was the No. 3 receiver for the Vols behind Cordarrelle Patterson and Justin Hunter. Rogers caught 32 passes for 491 yards in 2012. He ran a solid 40-yard dash time of 4.49 seconds at Tennessee's pro-day workouts.
