A little product in the hands of some of the participants at Jim Kelly's charity golf tournament Monday is a new business venture dreamed up by the Hall-of-Fame quarterback.

It's called MyFanClip. It's a multi-purpose clip that can be used as a money clip, a large paper clip, a clip for food storage, a bookmark or other uses. Above is a photo from MyFanClip Facebook page of Kelly and NFL great Herschel Walker showing off their clips at a trade show.

"It was Jim's idea," said Kelly's brother, Dan. "He was at a Nike event a couple years ago and he noticed a bunch of people using the same plain money clip that he was using.

"He started asking them if they'd use a money clip with their favorite team on it. Everyone's response was positive, so we went to work on it."

Kelly has secured licensing agreements with the NFL, NASCAR and several dozen college athletic programs to sell the product. Dan Kelly said MyFanClip will hit stores in mid-August.
