MemoraBillia exclusive: Bills QB EJ Manuel's Topps rookie card

By Tim Graham

There are all sorts of trading card companies that churn out products every year.

And when it comes to rookie cards, collectors need a checklist, a wad of cash and forensics background to track down all eleventy-six versions of their favorite young player.

There's only one Topps, however.

The Topps Company is allowing the Press Coverage blog to unveil the standard rookie card for the Buffalo Bills' first two draft choices: quarterback EJ Manuel and Robert Woods.

Card companies photographed Manuel, Woods and receiver Marquise Goodwin in their Bills gear for the first time last month at the annual NFL Players Association Rookie Premiere event. The session produces their first trading cards, the time-honored symbol that a pro athlete finally has made it.

In many ways, I'm a perpetual 16-year-old -- mentally anyway.

But, unapologetically, I always think this stuff is pretty cool.

Check back later this morning for the unveiling of Woods' rookie card and for links to Manuel and Woods autograph giveaways.
