With EJ Manuel recovering from a knee procedure and Kevin Kolb experiencing "concussion-like symptoms," the Buffalo Bills are reevaluating their quarterback depth chart and won't waste any time bringing in veterans to audition.
Multiple reports state former Heisman Trophy winner Matt Leinart and John Beck are headed to Orchard Park to work out Sunday.
Leinart, the 10th overall draft choice in 2006, has played for three NFL teams. He spent his first four seasons with the Arizona Cardinals, then one apiece with the Houston Texans and Oakland Raiders.
He has been one of the most notable draft busts in recent years. He has a 57.1 career completion percentage with 15 touchdowns and 21 interceptions.
Leinart started 11 games as a rookie but only seven since then. He has started twice over the past four years.
The Miami Dolphins made Beck the 40th selection of the 2007 draft. He stayed there for only two seasons and then was a backup with the Baltimore Ravens (didn't play), Washington (three starts and 16 sacks in 2011) and the Texans (didn't play last year).
Beck has started seven games. He has completed 58.6 percent of his career throws with three touchdowns and seven interceptions.
