The Buffalo Bills have the most rushing attempts in the NFL. The Cleveland Browns are tied with the St. Louis Rams for the most passing attempts in the NFL.
We'll see how that matchup plays out Thursday night when the two teams meet in Cleveland.
Cleveland is running on only 28.6 percent of its offensive plays, the second lowest ratio in the league (to the Rams). The Bills have been balanced, running on 51 percent of their plays.
Browns quarterback Brian Hoyer is throwing a lot of efficient, safe passes and is utilizing breakout tight end star Jordan Cameron. He leads all NFL tight ends with 30 catches.
Bills linebacker Manny Lawson was surprised to see just how much the Browns were throwing when he started studying them this week. "Yes I am actually, especially after them not really settling down on the quarterback at first," he said. "But, then again you have to look at the flip side. They have a very talented tight end right now that’s coming up. He’s going to make himself well known and they want to feed him the ball and that’s exactly what they’re doing."
