C.J. Spiller, Manny Lawson doubtful for Saints

By Mark Gaughan

Running back C.J. Spiller and linebacker Manny Lawson both will be listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints, coach Doug Marrone said today.

"We're planning on taking it to game time. It may change before that," Marrone said after the Bills' practice in the fieldhouse.

Spiller was in uniform during the team's workout but did not participate. Barring a surprise, look for Fred Jackson to get the majority of the touches out of the Bills' backfield against the Saints, with Tashard Choice serving as the No. 2 back.

The Bills released cornerback Brandon Burton. That could pave the way to activate running back Ronnie Wingo off the practice squad. The Bills are expected to announce a roster move this afternoon.
