A report early this afternoon from Fox Sports' Jay Glazer says the Buffalo Bills are one of the teams that has reached out to free agent quarterback Josh Freeman.
Glazer, whose track record is impeccable, spoke directly to Freeman on Saturday night. The quarterback told him he wants to go to a team that will allow him to compete for the starting role, naming the Bills, Raiders, 49ers, Vikings and Packers as those who have contacted him.

San Francisco and Green Bay would not provide Freeman an opportunity to start unless there an injury were to occur to Colin Kaepernick or Aaron Rodgers, respectively.
Minnesota and Oakland both have an unsettled quarterback position. Christian Ponder and Matt Cassel have failed to impress for the Vikings, while Terrelle Pryor and Matt Flynn haven't nailed down the Raiders' job.
Freeman would have a good opportunity to start for the Bills for as long as rookie quarterback EJ Manuel is out of the lineup. The starting job, however, would seemingly be Manuel's again upon his return.
As for one of the quarterbacks who did work out for the Bills today, a source close to Dennis Dixon told The Buffalo News "there's nothing to report," at this time between he and the team.
