Bills third team in eight months to get rid of Matt Flynn

By Tim Graham

Zero point zero.

That's the Buffalo Bills stat line for Matt Flynn.

The Bills released the journeyman quarterback today, three weeks after they signed him.

Flynn didn't get into a game for Buffalo even though EJ Manuel and Thad Lewis were injured. The Bills instead went with undrafted rookie Jeff Tuel for Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Bills made the move because Manuel is nearing a return from a knee injury, and Lewis could be available for Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

With the roster vacancy, the Bills signed fullback Evan Rodriguez.
