Would Kiko Alonso make a good mayor? One Buffalo voter thinks so

Alonso ballot

By Jay Skurski

The photo you see above is real. It comes from the Twitter user @CircleThisWagon, who got up, drove to his or her local polling location ... and proceeded to write in Buffalo Bills rookie linebacker Kiko Alonso in every spot on the ballot. He or she then decided to share it with the world on social media.

In case you're wondering, like me, if that's even legal, it is, according to this blog post from last year on Artvoice, written by local blogger Alan Bedenko (@BuffaloPundit on Twitter).

Alonso, of course, has quite the presence on Twitter. The hash tag #TheLegendofKikoAlonso has been profiled both in The News and recently on ESPN's Sunday NFL Countdown.

So, Bills fans, where do you stand on this? Harmless gag? A waste of time? Or a mockery of our political process?
