Rosemond to speak locally on parenting issues

Parent guru John Rosemond, whose column runs in WNY Refresh, will present a pair of lectures next week.

The first, titled “Parenting the Strong-Willed Teen,” will take place at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Mercy Center Auditorium, 625 Abbott Road; the second, “Parenting the Strong-Willed Child,” will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 1085 Englewood Ave., Kenmore.

Rosemond will sign books beginning at 6 p.m. before both lectures.

Both lectures are open to the public. Tickets cost $10 and will be available at the door. The talks are sponsored by the Catholic Diocese of Buffalo and Catholic Health Mercy Hospital Foundation, partnering with Mount Mercy Academy, Bishop Timon-St. Jude High School and St. John the Baptist School.
