Horizon Village wins national award

Horizon Village in Sanborn last month received an “Excellence in Addictions Treatment Innovation” award from the National Council for Behavioral Health.

The award, given during a three-day conference in Washington, D.C., recognizes behavioral health organizations that use compassion and commitment when treating and supporting those with mental illnesses and addiction challenges.

Horizon Village is a 50-bed, person-centered, intensive residential treatment facility that aims to help individuals, families and loved ones working toward recovery.

“This award is a demonstration to the skill, commitment and continued passion our employees put forth each and every day at Horizon Village,” organization President and CEO Anne Constantino said in a news release.
