Been jumpy to buy your tickets for the Sabres game in Ralph Wilson Stadium since word of the event leaked out several weeks back?
Pumped up for your chance to witness local sports history?
Make special plans to go to bed early on New Year's Eve so you could tailgate the following afternoon?
And then you probably got shut out this morning at the HSBC Arena and Wilson Stadium box offices, at TicketMaster and on whatever Web site you refreshed so often it caused blisters on your mouse trigger finger.
So because the NHL failed to put limits on the number of tickets you can order, some joker in Albuquerque or Des Moines or Memphis grabbed a few dozen on-line to gouge Western New Yorkers on eBay and ticket brokerage sites, sucking more money out of our pockets and local economy.
Maybe you can find comfort in the fact you're not alone.
